WELCOME TO CSEC MATH TUTOR.

This site is intended to provide support to students sitting the CSEC Mathematics Examination.

To say the obvious, you must be willing to do the work if you expect to pass you examination and get a good grade. You cannot by wishing grant yourself a grade one or distinction. You just have to do the work and it will pay off in the end.

I am often told by students that they just cannot study Mathematics. The fact is that you can indeed study Mathematics. There are several things that need to be studied, these include principles, definitions, formulae and procedures. Mathematics is after all a scientific discipline. The method has to be twofold, you must first understand the principle and then move on to practice and not the other way around. It is far easier to understand the principles rather than swatting examples. So get the principles down and then practice a lot to develop competency, accuracy, speed and your reasoning skills.

Best wishes as you continue to work hard
